So, what are the 8 Obstacles keeping you from achieving financial success?

The 8 Obstacles

1. No direction for success. No ship can take off without a plotted course and no airplane can take off without a flight plan, yet most individuals and families set out on financial journeys without plans in place. No one plans to fail; it’s just that people fail to plan. (To learn the three determinants of success, sign up for and attend one of Aubry & Eustice’s free webinars )

2. Financial Professionals. Yes, this is a big issue, if not the biggest issue. The problem with most financial professionals and companies that hire these financial professionals is that they were not hired to be the “financial advisor” they claim to be. Actually, most financial professionals were hired because they were good salespeople. This is why we refer to these people as financial professionals. Most handle themselves in a professional manner and most want to truly help people. The reality is that many financial professionals know very little how to be an advisor, but know a great deal about how to sell financial products. What is unfortunate for the general public is that most of these financial professionals really think they are doing the right thing for people. They are not evil; just the companies that they work for. These companies do not train financial advisors; they train financial salespeople. 3. Financial Plan Scams. This is very frustrating. It seems these days that everyone is a financial planner. The problem is that the vast majority of these so-called “financial planners” are giving away “free advice” in order to sell you a financial product. There are three forms of “financial planning.” In order to determine which one works best for you, sign up for a free webinar at www.aubryeustice.com/webinars.

4. Lousy, disappointing and mediocre investment strategies. How many times have you changed investment strategies in the last several years? How many “best of breed” investment managers have you placed money with? Do you know that most of these “best of breed” managers fail to out-perform “the Market?” There are several reasons as to why this is the case. No one can look in to a crystal ball and predict the future, let alone what is going to happen with the stock market on a day-to-day basis. Even Warren Buffet, one of the greatest investors of all time, agrees with this. When one is truly educated as to how “the Market” actually works, there is only one logical way to make investment decisions. To be educated as to how “the Market” actually works and which is the only logical investment strategy to use, sign up for a free webinar at www.aubryeustice.com/webinars.

5. Investment Pornography. As coined by Newsweek journalist Jayne Bryant Quinn, “Americans are indulging themselves in investment pornography.” The magazines, television stations and newsletters dedicated to giving you all of the secrets to financial success are causing much more harm than good. Investment pornography can grip a person like nothing else. Have you ever purchased a stock based on “advice” from a magazine? Maybe it was a “hot tip” from the folks on television. How often has following this “guidance” ever provided for you peace of mind? You can overcome investment pornography and the 8 Obstacles keeping you from financial success by signing up for and attending one of Aubry & Eustice’s free webinars at www.aubryeustice.com/webinars.

6. Failure to Understand Economic Forces. Investors are compensated for the risks that they take. But intelligent investors know which risks are worth taking. You may have heard the axiom “to get more return, you have to risk more.” While that may be true in isolated instances, when looking at managing your investments, it does not have to be like that. It is possible to increase your returns while decreasing your risk. In order to learn how to do this, sign up for one of Aubry & Eustice’s webinars today at www.aubryeustice.com/webinars

7. Emotional Investing over Scientific and Objective Investing. It’s a mouthful, but all too often, investors make investing decisions because they “like” a particular investment. Investors also make bad decisions with their investments when they hang on to a particular investment because of some emotional attachment (it was my first investment, my parents gave this investment to me, etc.). The reality is that it is possible to consistently increase returns and consistently decrease risks if an investment portfolio is put together using scientific evidence. In order to learn how to do this, sign up for one of Aubry & Eustice’s webinars today at www.aubryeustice.com/webinars

8. Improper Protection of Assets. Once you have a plan and strategy in place, it is paramount to protect your plan. Why? It his estimated that 50,000 lawsuits are filed in this country every day of the week. Whatever the cause (the breakdown of traditional values, loss of a sense of community, too many hungry lawyers, wasteful insurance companies) it does not matter, we are all impacted. It is very frustrating to see judges and juries playing “Robin Hood” with other people’s money. If you are one who has significant assets or significant insurance coverage, you are at risk. To learn how to better protect yourself, attend one of Aubry & Eustice’s webinars today at www.aubryeustice.com/webinars.
